Thomas Tyler was born in Washington, DC and later moved to Prince Georges County. As a former student of the public school system, he has experienced the lack of resources and opportunities needed to excel beyond sports. At E3, our mission is to provide the youth with as many opportunities and life skills needed for a successful future.

Kavon Holley is a Washington, D.C. native with a passion for educational equity and youth empowerment. She earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. Her career in education began in New York as a youth mentor, where she co-founded The Pact Mentorship Program to support high school students in their social and emotional development.
Kavon later moved to New Orleans, LA, to pursue a teaching career, where she dedicated herself to helping students think critically, challenge single narratives, and develop revolutionary mindsets. As both an educator and leader, she has been a steadfast advocate for educational equity, committed to empowering underserved communities through innovative programs, leadership development, and the integration of social-emotional learning (SEL).
She believes that reaching students requires leading with love, patience, and a holistic approach. Kavon is excited to bring her expertise in youth development and entrepreneurship to E3, where she hopes to help young people discover their passions and grow both personally and professionally.
Jade West is a native Washingtonian and resides in Southwest DC. Professionally, Jade has eight years of experience managing commercial real estate and homeowners’ associations’ assets in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia metropolitan area. Jade West is a native Washingtonian and resides in Southwest DC. Professionally, Jade has eight years of experience managing commercial real estate and homeowners’ associations’ assets in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia metropolitan area. In 2022, she transitioned out of the real estate management field to embark on a new and exciting journey as an Executive Assistant for a minority-owned start-up company. While in college, Jade served as the Secretary of a non-profit organization called the Black Retail Action Group Inc. In her personal life, she enjoys spending time and creating memories with her young son, family, and friends. Jade’s hobbies include reading, yachting, and watching psychological thrillers. Jade is looking forward to contributing to the success of E3!
Offered as an afterschool program at local elementary and middle schools. The 5-week program is the most important component of our organization as it provides the greatest experience for our youth. The program consists of a 4 week hands on learning experience, focusing on one trade. Week 5 of the program will consist of a financial literacy course.

Mini-Camp is a 1-3 day camp where youth are able to indulge in a hands-on trade experience. Mini-camps are hosted throughout the year. Join your local professionals as they educate our youth about their profession through an interactive experience. Come out and join us!

Ready, Set, Recess is our community engagement initiative to allow our youth to simply experience being a kid. This is a low to no technology event where we are encouraging physical activity, positive interactions and communication amongst our youth. Ready, Set, Recess is a day full of games, food, music, raffles, joy and smiles!
During Ready, Set, Recess, we provide the space and opportunity for our youth entrepreneurs to be vendors.
